12 Bottles Of Henri Jayer Set A Record Price On The Internet, Selling For CHF 61’200

On October 11th 2016, Baghera Wines – the leading Swiss fine wine auctioneer – held their 4th “Wine o’clock” online auction, “French Terroirs”.

Highlighting some of the rarest French wine signatures, this “online only” auction drew in fine wine collectors from all over the world, reaching top prices on the Internet.

Notably Henri Jayer’s Vosne-Romanée 1993 12 bottle lot, which went for CHF 61'200 during Baghera Wines’ auction. This significant amount establishes a record price for wine web auctions, and becomes the most expensive wine lot ever sold online in Switzerland.

Baghera Wines’ next “Wine o’clock” (www.bagherawines.auction) on October 25th will focus on large format bottles of sought-after Clarets and rare whiskies.
