If it were currently permitted, the concert halls would be packed to the rafters now and in the coming weeks. Usually, in the days before Christmas, the classical music world would be celebrating the 250th birthday of its most-performed composer. “Bthvn,” as he would often sign his later scores, was christened in Bonn December 17, 1770—a day after his birth, as was the custom of the time. 

He was a visionary. A radical, and way ahead of his time. He loved nature, and was an ardent supporter of the ideals of the French revolution: liberté, égalité, fraternité. A man capable of so much, he always found time for the women he adored.

The Tetra Symphony series of four mechanical watches for women are a contemporary tribute to this special individual.
