In the Milano Store in via Solferino, Arredo3 welcomed the public of Design Week 2024 with a project in the name of art, to celebrate a prestigious milestone: 40 years of activity. With the event “LIFE IS ART – 40 Years of Kitchen Experience” the Arredo3 showroom was transformed into an art gallery, a stage animated by the performances, presented by the art critic Luca Cantore D'Amore, of one of the most famous pop artists artists on the international scene: Gianpiero D'Alessandro. This year the company celebrates 40 years of research and projects with technological and quality standards characterized by a mix of design and sustainability, and wanted to present this journey with a "pop" exhibition: new kitchen solutions evoke the most important moments of the company's path, combined with the works created by the eclectic artist.

The restyling of the Arredo3 exhibition space focused on the study of light by using lighter colors on the walls and increasing the brightness with a careful lighting decor project aimed at highlighting the finishes and details of each kitchen.

In the window, the mixed Asia and Time composition stands out for its volumes and majesty, characterized by the Brera handle on the bases and tall units. In the island, the handle is present in the small version on the noce veneered drawers, combined with lower fronts with translated grip profile in the same finish, but ribbed. The volume is completed by the Arco collection and its soft lines in noce veneered. The rounded sides of the island, the oval snack counter and its Arco support are part of it. In combination the Time tall units in platinum metallic lacquer, also with Arco sides, where in the centre, between the right and left tall units, is the LAB boiserie in walnut veneer with black aluminum accessories. The bases and kitchen island are Asia in noce veneered, while the tops are in Laminam® in the new Pietra Piasentina Taupe fiammata version. This finish, in addition to having a typical graphic of the Piasentina Stone, features the “fiammatura” : the surface is not completely smooth but has a slight relief which gives the realistic appearance of the stone by simulating the presence of aggregates even in the thickness.

Arredo3, Time kitchen with Brera integrated handles. This composition stands out for majestic sculpted volumes, highlighted by the softened sides and without sharp edges. A feature that applies to the tall units, separated into two distinct blocks by the equipped LAB boiserie, and to the island. Also rounded are the oval snack counter and its Arco support in lava veneered and the Iris ceramic top, with a refined grain visible on the thickness. In the tall units, the doors Time line are characterized by the incisions that reinforce their verticality.

Other exclusive elements are the Time line door with integrated Brera handle and the Tuttotondo bridge in black aluminum on the island. All the metal profiles, the Brera handle, the Tuttotondo bridge, the profiles of the LAB boiserie, the groove and the plinth are offered in black.

The exhibition continues on the lower floor where the Glass 2.0 composition with Kalì is present. In detail, the Mover module, i.e. the back panel with a door that slides vertically downwards, proposed with a new finish in micro-ribbed glass, also used for the pure white tall units. The thin grooves allow to overlap two doors, eliminating the unsightly embossed effect. The bases instead belong to the Kalì model in the smoked oak version with a top in Abitum Pietra Grigia which also covers the sides of the two outermost modules of the gulf-shaped composition.

Another novelty is the Tuttotondo bookcase used as a divider of the space on the lower floor, painted black with smoked glass shelves and bottle holder shelves.

The journey continues with the Glass 2.0 + Asia composition, a model previously proposed in champagne color now revisited for the occasion in an equally elegant nuance: black in lava tones. There are two black Modus channels on the support surface, while Glass 2.0 doors and the top are offered in Pietra Savoia Perla creating an allure of great refinement. These doors, in particular, are characterized by a precious detail: the frame in champagne finish. Another new element is the round Stilo support in lava veneered version. The tall units belong to the Asia model, in ribbed lava veneered.

On the opposite side of the Glass 2.0 + Asia composition is the Wega model in slate grey matt PET. In contrast, the upper front panel of the Kalì model in laminato riga termocotto on the island drawers, a detail also repeated on the back panels of the display cases and on the panels on the right and on the left.

The Vogue display cases stand out for black smoked glass and black frame, mounted with a concealed hinge. Duetto top and magnetic back panel are in Laminam® Pietra Grey. Other elements of the composition include the Air shelves placed to the right and left of the black aluminum Vogue display case and the column wine cellar which fits well into the harmony of the composition.

AURA: new outdoor kitchen prototype

Arredo3 also explores the world of outdoor hospitality with a prototype of an outdoor kitchen proposed for the first time during the Design Week. Outside the showroom, a covered structure welcomes the new kitchen with a setup designed as a lounge area.

Aluminum, completely recyclable, is the main material used for doors, sides, backs and feet, while the very thick top was proposed in Laminam® Pietra Piasentina grigia fiammata, and also possible in steel. These elements allow the AURA kitchen to be included as part of the eco-sustainable Gaia Range, as they are made only from sustainable materials and with removable and recyclable modules. Offered in two dimensions, 240 cm and 180 cm, always with a depth of 70 cm.

The top is set up, for both sizes, with a tank with integrated mixer with the lid and gas grill with with a fire on the side and a folding lid: the appliances are all in stainless steel. The AURA kitchen is suitable for spaces, such as terraces or dehors with a roof and was designed mainly to be placed against the wall: the back module has pre-drilled holes for connection to water and gas pipes. With appropriate pre-drilling modifications, the AURA outdoor kitchen can also be positioned as an island.
