After the success of the Race collection, Yvan Arpa decided to make a very intensive labour, to tribute to the incredible 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Wheel.
A 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO Berlinetta became the most-expensive car ever sold at public auction when $38,115,000 was paid for it at the 2014 Bonhams Quail Lodge sale in Carmel, California. This iconic Ferrari 250 GTO was raced, amongst others, by Jo Schlesser. This is the source of this extremely exclusive 3D version of the Race collection.
The hub of the rim on the dial side goes right through the watch... including the sapphire crystal!
A world first: the time can only be seen when the wheel on the dial side is spun at full speed.
An exceptional delicate work combining jewelry, watchmaking and inventiveness was needed to make it look and turn like this iconic historical Rim.
