CalAtlantic Homes, one of the nation's largest homebuilders, today announced its 2016 national corporate sponsorship of Marine Toys for Tots Foundation and the launch of its annual nationwide fundraising campaign to spread joy this holiday season to the 15.5 million U.S. children living in poverty. Now through Sunday, December 11, home shoppers are welcome to donate new, unwrapped toys at any of the Company's 565 model home communities across the country.

Since 1947, Marines have distributed more than 476 million toys to more than 223 million needy children. Over its lifespan, Toys for Tots has supplemented local toy collections with more than 108 million toys, valued at more than $800 million. While the Marines coordinate and manage the program, the Foundation's success depends on the support of the local community and the kindness of people who donate toys.
