'Candyflipping' Art Exhibition: A Captivating Fusion of Nature and Surrealism

ME London is proud to present 'Candyflipping', a brand new extraordinary art exhibition curated by Gone Rogue, showcasing the remarkable talents of mixed-media artist Jana Nicole and hyperrealist artist Gabriella Anouk. Launched earlier this month, the exhibition is currently on display in the Marconi Lounge at the hotel and invites visitors on a visually mind-bending journey through the artists' unique perspectives on nature, fruit, and botanicals.

Aimed at reigniting people’s connection with nature and fostering a deeper appreciation for the art that exists within our natural realm, 'Candyflipping' merges the unique styles and perspectives of Jana Nicole and Gabriella Anouk creating a hallucinatory show that captivates the senses. Displayed side by side, their artworks complement and contrast each other, delivering a vibrant and thought-provoking experience. 

Gabriella Anouk, a British contemporary artist, is known for her hyperrealist art with a twist. In her pieces she merges various styles, including fine art, photorealism, surrealism and pop art featuring colours,  shapes and everyday objects and food. Her expressive #SlimeSeries, developed in 2021, captivates audiences with its intricate beauty and the juxtaposition of natural elements against vibrant, synthetic slime. 

On the other hand,  award-winning artist Jana Nicole presents an exclusive series of artworks called Abode. Each piece captures the fascinating and beautiful world of fungi and mycelium, showcasing her interaction with forest landscapes both above and below ground. Abode offers a fresh perspective on nature, inviting viewers to delve into the intricate details and immerse themselves.
