Sunreef Yachts made waves at the annual press conference held during the Cannes Yachting Festival by hosting the European premiere of the ULTIMA 55 in the Vieux Port. The company presented a new model that rewrites the rules of catamaran design with a sleek and sporty silhouette.

 

ULTIMA 55: Made of Speed and Style

The ULTIMA 55 combines speed, comfort, and luxury for dynamic cruising and lifestyle. Built in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, she is part of Sunreef’s successful ULTIMA range alongside models like the 66, 77, 88, and 111.

 

SLEEK and Stable

Speed stems from its streamlined architecture and a foil system that enables high cruising speeds with efficient fuel use. The flat carbon deck keeps the boat light. Equipped with twin Volvo Penta D8-IPS 800 engines, the yacht can reach 36 knots, delivering a smooth and stable ride at high speeds.

 

A VERSATILE design 

Comfort is central, with a semi-open saloon linking indoor and outdoor spaces. The aft deck’s fold-down platforms extend the beam to 7,6m and provide room for relaxing and water sports, with easy access to toys, a fridge, and an ice maker. Below deck, the yacht provides a master suite, a VIP stateroom, and crew cabin, all finished to Sunreef’s luxury standards.

 

SMART Tech 

Advanced technology includes the Sunreef WETRA Intelligent Automation System. Developed in-house, it collects information from multiple systems, ensuring an easy overview and centralized management of the yacht’s operations. Future WETRA innovations will include AI-optimized preventive maintenance.

The ULTIMA 55 exemplifies a powercat that balances sporty performance with lavish comfort and cutting-edge technology, crafted to deliver an elevated yachting experience.
