In 2021, Eberhard & Co. celebrated the many years of success and history made by Chrono 4, the watch which, at the dawn of the Third Millennium, revolutionised the reading of time. For this important anniversary, the introduction of the Chrono 4 "21-42" model paid tribute to the milestone achieved by the Maison.
The story of one of the most original chronographs ever made within the Swiss watch industry began in 2001 with the ingenious modification of a standard movement and the addition of a device allowing for the alignment of 4 counters (minutes, hours, 24 hours and small seconds).
The calibre EB. 251, a Eberhard & Co. patent, has remained unchanged since then and in the Chrono 4 "21-42" version is housed in a 42 mm diameter steel case with a polished finish.
The dial, to be matched to the ceramic bezel, is available in a selection of refined versions: white, with white counters with azuré finishing and polished appliqué profile; black, with 4 white counters with azuré finishing and polished appliqué profile; grey with 4 grey counters featuring azuré finishing and polished applique profile; black with 4 black counters featuring azuré finishing and polished applique profile and white with 4 black counters featuring azuré finishing and polished appliqué profile.
To be matched to the steel bezel, the dial is proposed in argenté with 4 black counters featuring azuré finishing and polished appliqué profile and in grey with 4 grey counters featuring azuré finishing and polished applique profile.
Chrono 4 "21-42", an iconic model with a contemporary flair, is available with a steel bracelet and rubber or alligator straps, the latter completed with the exclusive Déclic ® deployant clasp.
