Ace Hardware, the world's largest hardware cooperative, today announced Vantage Point (38B-4) as Clark+Kensington's 2027 Color of the Year, available at participating Ace Hardware stores nationwide and online at The Paint Studio. As the focal point of the 2027 collection, Vantage Point is complemented by two curated palettes, Drift and Mellow. Together, they capture different moments of the day: the optimism of a new dawn and the soothing stillness of afternoon as it gives way to dusk.

  • Drift: Inspired by the hopeful feeling of a new day, Drift pairs gentle hues such as Almond Biscotti (N-W21), Cappuccino Foam (16A-1), Catching Rays (19B-2), Of the Wind (36A-2), and Family Reunion (25A-3) to evoke light and create moments of joy.
  • Mellow: Capturing the soft glow of the horizon, Mellow blends warm neutrals and rich, earthen tones for a relaxed, enveloping feel. In addition to Vantage Point (38B-4), the palette includes Charley's Horse (11A-5), Pure Zen (06A-2), Antique White (CW-W7), and Adobe Hut (N-C3).
