CLASSICS CARREE AUTOMATIC ODE TO THE ETERNAL CLASSICISM OF THE 20s

Three new variations of the Classics Carrée Automatic return the collection to its original era, those of the roaring twenties, from which emerged a stylistic audacity whose imprint is still perceptible. Very refined, these rose gold-plated or steel timepieces rely on a minimalist style with baton indexes, dauphine hands and date. A dial with a subtle guilloché pattern gives the Classics Carrée Automatic a rare elegance for aesthete collectors.

THREE VARIATIONS
THREE STYLES

The new Classics Carrée Automatic is available in three versions, all powered by the FC-303 caliber offering 38 hours of power reserve, visible through the sapphire caseback. The most sober and classic, delivered with a steel case, silver dial and black leather strap; the most modern comes in the same case with a blue dial on a matching bracelet in the same tone, topstitched in blue; the most chic and precious prefers a pink gold-plated case with shared indexes and hands, on a brown strap.

The center of the dial concentrates the most refined finishes. This rectangle, also with the exact proportions of the 30.4 x 33.3 mm case, is closed by a “railway” type timer, typical of the 1920s and the Art Deco movement that ran through them. A very fine grooving dresses it, offered to the sole gaze of its owner.

This subtlety makes it possible to offer a better contrast to the set of three hands. Those for the hours and minutes are shaped in the Dauphine style, a geometry also characteristic of the past century. This simple, refined shape allows the time to be read perfectly in all circumstances thanks to two facets oriented at two divergent angles – so that at least one of the two always captures the light.
