Copper Cane Wines & Spirits is proud to announce the expansion of its Threadcount portfolio with the addition of the California Cabernet Sauvignon and the California Rosé, brought to the bottle by fifth-generation winemaker Joe Wagner. These two wines join the existing lineup of Cabernet, Sauvignon Blanc, and Red Wine, further broadening the brand's range of approachable, fine-quality California wines.

"We created Threadcount on the principle that everyone should be able to enjoy fine wine without hesitation," said Joe Wagner, Founder of Copper Cane Wines & Spirits. Threadcount is closely connected to Wagner's Napa Valley Quilt brand, sharing many of the same varietals-including Cabernet and Sauvignon Blanc- and the same dedication to craftsmanship. While Napa Valley Quilt is inspired by the patchwork of Napa Valley's vineyards, blending fruit from multiple regions into a cohesive, approachable style, Threadcount builds and broadens on this approach, sourcing beyond Napa Valley to include Sonoma, Lake County, and more. Just as Napa Valley Quilt's name reflects the thoughtful stitching together of fabrics, Threadcount evokes the elegance and comfort of fine textiles – inviting and indulgent, without being unattainable. The portfolio is designed for any day of the week, offering elegance and complexity at a more accessible price point, serving as a stepping stone into the world of fine wine. 

The California Cabernet is dark ruby red in color, capturing the richness, diversity, and spirit of California. Sourced from a curated blend of the state's most renowned AVAs, this Cabernet is rich and full-bodied on the palate, with dark berry fruit, toasty oak, and smooth tannins. This Cabernet pairs beautifully with steak, braised short ribs, or hearty pasta dishes, making it a versatile choice for both formal dining and casual evenings.

The California Rosé comes from the coastal range of California, made from cool-climate-grown Pinot Noir to create a brisk, vibrant style that is layered with bright red berry notes. Best enjoyed well-chilled, it pairs seamlessly with shrimp cocktail, fresh salad, shellfish, and delicate appetizers, bringing a touch of sophistication to any occasion.
