Glenfiddich, the world's most awarded single malt whisky, experiments with tea to curate unique sensorial serves for whisky enthusiasts and novices to cherish. Launched at JW Mariott, Aerocity, Delhi on 27th May, the newest initiative redefines the rules of traditional cocktail making. The special evening was attended by leading influencers, celebrities, chefs, designers, and media wherein they savoured the unconventional cocktails, each showcased with a unique service ritual.

India is a tea-drinking nation and the second largest producer of tea. Complementing the tasting notes of Glenfiddich 'Our Original Twelve', the sensorial serves will create distinguished experiences for single malt lovers, driving an emotional connection with India's most loved beverage 'Tea' whisky aka the water of life.

Inspired by the Japanese tradition of mixing tea and whisky, it is an experience outside of mainstream mixology. The 4 single malt serves – Dufftown Mist, Smoky Tryst, Paradisiacal Highball, Threefold Fashioned, are created using fruit-forward notes of the Glenfiddich 'Our Original Twelve' with its tangerine sweetness and intense aromas.

The exquisite serves have been curated by Glenfiddich India Brand Ambassador, Angad Singh Gandhi using Anandini Himalaya Tea specially created by India's leading Tea Sommelier, Anamika Singh who has been working in the Tea Industry for close to 30 years.

Angad Singh Gandhi, Brand Ambassador, Glenfiddich India, said, 'Our experiments with tea reflect Glenfiddich's long illustrious history of innovation and desire to push boundaries of convention. It has been a journey full of passion, carefully creating serves using the tea and Glenfiddich single malt. The hand plucked, roasted green Tea from Manjhee Valley Tea Estate, is specially manufactured in the month of September. It has hints of saffron with splashes of cockscomb flower that pairs well with the smooth and mellow Glenfiddich 'Our Original Twelve'; to deliver an experience like never before."

Glenfiddich has reinvented the norm and redefined the single malt serve in India with these first-of-its-kind serves that will be available across premium bars, restaurants and top 100 outlets in Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Mumbai, Karnataka, Hyderabad, and Goa. A specially curated toolkit with a smoke gun, decanter, tray, and ramequin will also be showcased for an exclusive experience.
