The continuous activity of developing new projects does not stop. Mandelli1953 confirms to be a dynamic company that invests in the search for new forms of design, also thanks to interesting collaborations with Italian and international professionals.

Born from the synergy of Mandelli1953 with the duo of designers Weichih Chen & Fuhua Wang of the WA + CH studio, the Frame collection draws inspiration from the classical Chinese decorations of the mid-century used to decorate window frames, door jambs and furniture. The shape coming from the Asian tradition is revisited in a contemporary style giving birth to the new Frame handle.

"We create stories that contain Eastern culture with contemporary aesthetic – declare the designers - Its
elegance comes from the details of each edge and curves. While holding it, the smooth shape leads the hand along its surface that maximizes the comfort and ergonomic design.”

Also the study of the finishes reveals an aesthetic search for style: the outer surface is made of polished brass on the lever body, while the inside is satin-finished. Different shades are available: rose gold and
satin rose gold, polished brass and brass, matte black, polished chrome and satin. The rose gold color, chosen in a shade tending more to red than gold, is a tribute to “China Red”, a color traditionally associated with Chinese culture. The Frame handle fits perfectly in both modern and classic living
spaces, thanks also to the possibility to choose between the timeless elegance of the round on rose handle or the contemporaneity of the square one.

Mandelli1953 experience in the processing of brass and the production processes, still partly handcrafted, have allowed to create a unique collection, able to combine the Chinese cultural background with the new trends of contemporary European aesthetics. The Frame collection is part of a company vision of growth and openness towards the East, where the interior design sector increasingly demands and appreciates made in Italy products.
