Fantini Mosaici showroom to be opened in Milan in 2023 will be a special space. A welcoming place dedicated to conviviality and to tell guests who will come from all over the world about the heritage of skills and expertise in luxury coverings - including artistic mosaic, terrazzo, Palladian, cobblestone, marble - gained in over one hundred years of activity.

For this important appointment set at the end of the year, the company continues the research path that has been exploring the world of art for over a century to investigate the possible future of a millenary technique. “Because of the strong interrelation - declares Enrico Fantin, CEO of Fantini Mosaici and exponent of the fourth generation of the Fantin family - between our world and that of art, we decided to recreate in this space a museum concept, a gallery where art-related events will take place over time”.

Like a mosaic that comes to life tile after tile, during Milan Design Week 2023 Fantini Mosaici has placed the first piece of a series of episodes that will take place throughout the year: a fascinating site-specific installation by AB+AC Architects studio of Arianna Bavuso and Andre Chedid.

Back to the Future is the title of the installation that celebrates mosaic and terrazzo art, summarizing in perfect symbiosis craftsmanship, made in Italy, exclusivity,
preciousness and a reflection on the conscious use of resources.

In a kaleidoscopic room dominated by the blue of sodalite, AB+AC Architects have created the illusion of a limitless universe, formed by a mixture of precious and rough stones that compose a three-dimensional floor of floating pyramids framed by an endless sequence of portals. This hypnotic, visual and tactile experience paves the way for new experiments, describing how Fantini Mosaici compositions are heirs of a millenary culture made up of ancient techniques, noble materials and processes handed down from generation to generation.
