"This first of its kind indoor range will showcase our ability to allow courses, cities and landlords to add a 4,000 – 10,000 sq ft indoor range, attracting more people to the game by using smaller spaces. Schier continued, "Additionally, Beyond Golf Chico can provide the community with one of the largest screen (nearly 4,000 sq ft) for game watch parties, kids' movies and private events in addition to being both an indoor driving range catering to golfers of all abilities AND a golf entertainment venue in a very small footprint."
"Our team is very excited about the indoor driving range, Atari licensed and other video games that Smash Swing brings to our giant Big Screen which is 100 feet wide," said Matt Carton of Beyond Golf Chico. He continued, "We feel this will enable us to reach our goal of a new inventive way to introduce the youth of our area to golf on a free basis. Along with other tools, including PING's adaptive demo clubs, we will be able to accommodate people of all abilities the opportunity to participate in virtual golf and games."
SmashSwing and Beyond Golf Chico anticipate the facility construction will begin in 2026.
