Frederique Constant and Gwyneth Paltrow invited young students from the DonorsChoose.org program to attend a private fitness class hosted by the actress along with celebrity fitness trainer, Tracy Anderson. Held at the exclusive new venue Spring Studios, in New York City, the class was a high energy moment where Aletta Stas-Bax and Gwyneth Paltrow encouraged guests to join with them in the "1,000 Steps Challenge" in support of DonorsChoose.org. The challenge implied completing 1,000 steps under 10 minutes for a special donation to be made to the DonorsChoose.org organization. During the challenge, Gwyneth wore the new Frederique Constant Horological Smartwatch for Ladies connected to a large video screen to display the watch's key functions and the actress's real time fitness activity details.
Gwyneth Paltrow says, "Frederique Constant is a company that inspires me because it creates high quality watches but also gives back to the community. I really responded to the values of the brand."
The set objective was joyfully achieved and as a result Frederique Constant was honored to contribute a donation of $50,000 to the DonorsChoose.org organization, specifically towards their movement and sports programs throughout public schools.
Peter Stas, CEO of Frederique Constant says, "We are very happy to support DonorsChoose.org. Children are our future and we want to give them a chance to develop themselves to their maximum potential. Investment in education is essential for humanity's future and fitness is key to a healthy overall lifestyle."
Following the exclusive class, and keeping with the theme, an evening cocktail was organized to welcome over 150 guests, among many VIP's of New York, key members of the press and Frederique Constant's longtime loyal customers. During the cocktail, the official donation of $50,000 was awarded to Charles Best, CEO of DonorsChoose.org by both, CEO of Frederique Constant, Peter Stas, and Gwyneth Paltrow.
"We are so grateful for the support of Frederique Constant and Gwyneth Paltrow, which brings extra attention to the needs that teachers are sharing with DonorsChoose.org," said Charles Best, founder of DonorsChoose.org. "With their help, so many more classrooms will have materials to bring learning to life for students across the United States."
