Fronius Partners With United Way Of Porter County For Hope Day Of Caring

FRONIUS PARTNERS WITH UNITED WAY OF PORTER COUNTY FOR HOPE DAY OF CARING
 
Portage, IN, October, 2015 – Fronius USA recently partnered with the United Way of Porter County to conduct two Days of Caring at the area Boys and Girls Clubs to compliment Fronius’ new HOPE (Helping Others &  Providing Energy) program. The Fronius HOPE program is the manufacturer’s new corporate philanthropy platform that focuses on engaging staff in community involvement and volunteerism.
 
All staff members, encouraged to participate on October 9th and the 23rd at two locations of the area’s Boys and Girls Clubs, were given a full work day to contribute to the volunteer activities.
 
„We’re so proud to launch this program by engaging our staff in the community,“ said Wolfgang Niedrist, CEO of Fronius USA. „The children and activities supporting those children are our future and we are committed to providing energy to those organizations through offering our staff as a volunteer workforce for the day.“
 
Fronius staff painted, landscaped and even used their product, the mobile welding tool Fronius Accupocket, to restore the Portage and South Haven, Indiana Boys and Girls Clubs. The United Way helped to support their efforts, which supports 39 non profits in the county in which Fronius is headquartered.
