Today, Casio G-SHOCK announces their newest, limited-edition MT-G GPS Hybrid timepiece, which was crafted at Casio's Yamagata factory in Japan.
As part of the luxurious MT-G GPS Hybrid series, this limited edition MTGG1000RB-1A features an ion plated stainless steel and fine resin case and layered composite band with unique dark grey rough blast finish, and an anti-glare sapphire-glass crystal.
Similar to all MT-G GPS Hybrid models, the solar-powered MTGG1000RB-1A comes equipped with GPS satellite radio wave reception and Multiband 6 technology. This hybrid technology allows the watch to receive signals from satellites as well as from six different transmitters around the globe for the most accurate timekeeping. It also allows intuitive access to all key functions with Smart Access technology.
In addition, the MTGG1000RB-1A is equipped with G-SHOCK technology, including 200M Water Resistance and Triple G Resist, to guard against shock, centrifugal force and vibrations. For visibility, a LED Super Illuminator Light is employed. Features such as World Time with 40 time zones that include 27 cities + UTC, Daily Alarm, 1/20th second Stopwatch, Countdown Timer, and 12/24 Hour Formats, make it a true global timepiece, all in a 54.7 mm case.
The MTGG1000RB-1A will retail for $2,100 USD, available for purchase in October 2016 at select jewelers and watch retailers.
