The Club Campus series from NOMOS Glashütte is made for young adults and comes with a bilingual dial.
January 24 is International Day of Education as proclaimed by the United Nations. An important day as education systems face unprecedented disruption due to Corona restrictions. A day which this watchmaker honors with a special series. NOMOS CEO, Uwe Ahrendt: “The Club Campus series, which has been conceived as a reward for graduating from high school, university, or attaining other academic achievements, comes with a bilingual dial showing Roman and Arabic numerals. These watches are companions for life, well beyond school and university.” This mechanical, analog watch is intended to “be a part of everyday life for the younger generation, as it represents a cultural heritage,” the NOMOS CEO explains.
Made by hand in Glashütte, the timepieces are extremely robust despite the beauty and delicacy of the caliber. They are available in several sizes and colors. At present, the Club Campus comes with a classic white silver-plated dial, and also in deep blue and in an optimistic future orange. Hand-wound and automatic calibers are available. Parents, grandparents, and other gifters may include an engraving on the steel back.
