In the heart of the West Hollywood Design District, a quiet yet meaningful collaboration is unfolding. Inside eggersmann’s newly reimagined showroom, a single painting from my Halcyon Collection has been thoughtfully placed to spark a conversation between contemporary art and luxury design.

eggersmann is celebrated for its refined minimalism, precise craftsmanship, and more than a century of innovation. Their approach to cabinetry transcends the functional. Each element, from material selection to surface finish, is curated to create spaces that feel timeless and intentional. Their designs are immersive and architectural, grounded in restraint, elegance, and a deep respect for detail.

The featured piece from my Halcyon Collection is a textured, layered white-on-white painting that explores ideas of calm strength and inner clarity. Selected by showroom manager James McCabe, the work was chosen for its ability to quietly echo the textural richness of eggersmann’s finishes. From ultra-matte lacquers and brushed metals to hand-applied wood veneers and sculptural stone, their palette is both sensorial and sophisticated. The painting and the surrounding cabinetry speak to one another, each enhancing the experience of the other.

This collaboration reflects more than a visual alignment. It is rooted in a shared commitment to intentional design, craftsmanship, and the transformative power of texture. There is an emotional depth in both our practices. My work and eggersmann’s cabinetry share a sense of quiet confidence and lasting resonance.

Together, we invite the viewer to look more closely, to slow down, and to experience design in a more personal way. When art and interiors come together with care and clarity, they can create something truly memorable.

Something that feels not only elevated, but meaningful.

Where Fine Art and Fine Craftsmanship Align

Inside our newly transformed West Hollywood showroom, you’ll find more than kitchens and cabinetry. You’ll enter a space that encourages stillness, sparks connection, and redefines the relationship between form and feeling. Among our newest displays and curated materials, a single piece of art quietly draws the eye: a layered white-on-white painting from Jennifer Rae Ochs’ Halcyon Collection.

Selected for its depth and subtle energy, the artwork resonates with our design philosophy. It reflects the same quiet confidence, clarity, and attention to craftsmanship that define every eggersmann collection. Just as our cabinetry invites interaction through texture and proportion, Jennifer’s work adds an emotional layer that complements the environment. The painting naturally complements the tones and textures found in our new ecru color system, creating a muted harmony that, like a whisper, quietly commands your attention drawing you to the space.

This collaboration is more than an aesthetic alignment. It is a shared exploration of materials and meaning. As this painting’s collection name “Halcyon” suggests, the tone-on-tone encourages our minds to journey to idyllically happy and peaceful thoughts from one’s own experiences. Whether in cabinetry or on canvas, both practices embrace restraint and elevate detail to create spaces that feel personal and timeless.

At eggersmann, our designs aim to beckon all senses. This moment with Jennifer Rae Ochs adds another dimension to your showroom experience. It reminds us that great design should not only be seen, it should be felt.

The Halcyon Collection: A Signature Series by JRO ART

Rooted in the very meaning of its name, Halcyon evokes a time of peace — calm, radiant, and untouched by chaos. This signature collection embodies that sentiment through sculpted layers, pearlescent tones, and a meditative interplay of white-on-white textures. Each piece is a luminous reflection of stillness and strength, inviting the viewer into a moment of visual serenity.

Created with hundreds of layered applications in mixed media and acrylics, The Halcyon Collection is built through time, patience, and intention. The works respond to light — glowing softly by day and shifting in depth and tone as light dances across their surface. A pearlescent finish lends quiet brilliance, while hand-sculpted textures give each canvas a presence that feels both architectural and ethereal.

Minimal in palette yet maximal in impact, the collection integrates seamlessly into interiors while standing as a timeless focal point. Halcyon offers a sense of poised power — art that doesn’t demand attention, but receives it.
