Learn to Scuba Dive with New Underwater Experience at Grand Velas Riviera Maya

Guests at the AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas Riviera Maya can now learn to scuba in a new underwater offering with its Discover Scuba Package. Riviera Maya features protected underwater habitats teeming with diverse marine life and incredible cenotes, underground caves with fresh water rivers.

On private guided tours, guests of all ages new to scuba can learn what diving is all about in time for National Scuba Diving Month in June. In partnership with SiisDive, one of the destination’s top diving authorities, the Discover Scuba Diving Package includes a theory discussion and pool practice prior to up to two dives on the same day, inclusive of equipment and one tank of air. A $50 spa credit per adult per stay for use at the resort’s Leading Spa of the World is also included.

Package rates start at $518 per person per night in double occupancy. Grand Velas’ all-inclusive rate includes luxury suite accommodations, a la carte gourmet meals at a variety of specialty restaurants, premium branded beverages, 24-hour in-suite service, fitness center, nightly entertainment and more.
