Luxury home in Suncadia set for May 9 auction

The Suncadia mountain community -- with world class skiing, golf, hiking and other outdoor attractions an hour's drive from Seattle -- has become known as one of Washington's premier areas for luxurious personal retreats. And a high-end home in one of the community's most desirable areas will be offered at auction Saturday, May 9.

"Auctions for homes in this class have been relatively rare in recent years, and we are anticipating that this one will attract a lot of interest," said Scott Musser, of Musser Bros. Auctions and Real Estate, which is marketing the home and managing the auction.

"The craftsmanship and attention to detail in this home are just incredible. It was built in 2007, using an authentic timber-frame design, and is full of high-end touches. It has an open floor plan, with large open spaces and a floor-to-ceiling rock fireplace. The glass doors lead to a large patio with expansive views of the landscape and the Cle Elum River," Musser said.

"This home was made for entertaining, with two master suites. The kitchen is the kind of setting one might expect on a gourmet TV show, with granite countertops, a professional grade Wolfe gas grill, dual Miele dishwashers, dual Dacor ovens, and a Sub Zero refrigerator-freezer," Musser added. The home is 4,629 square feet, with four bedrooms and 3.5 baths.

The auction will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 9, at the home, 1450 Pinegrass Loop, Cle Elum. Musser Bros. personnel will be available at the home to accommodate inspections on April 26, May 3, May 8, and on the auction day.
