Pasternak Wine Imports Introduces "Château de la Mulonnière" From Saget La Perrière

Pasternak Wine Imports is pleased to announce the nationwide launch of Château de la Mulonnière from Saget La Perrière. Saget La Perrière is one of France's Loire Valley's most dynamic and innovative family owned companies celebrating their 3rdsuccessive century in business. As "Masters of the Loire Valley" their goal is to offer consumers worldwide signature expressions of the Loire Valley appellations.

About Château de la Mulonnière - The Saget family recognized the growing opportunity in the Anjou appellation as consumers look to explore new regions and as Chenin Blanc grows in popularity as a varietal. According to Arnaud Saget, Managing Director, "Château de la Mulonnière became part of the Saget La Perrière family when my father, Jean-Louis Saget, literally fell in love with this historic estate in the Anjou region of the Loire Valley upon seeing the obvious quality potential of its terroirs, and subsequently decided to purchase the estate in 2003."  Bordered by the Layon river on one side and vineyards on the other, Château de la Mulonnière is a perfect illustration of the relaxed charm of the Anjou lifestyle, a region known to produce some of the region's most prestigious appellations including Savennières, Coteaux du Layon and Quarts de Chaume. Sustainable viticulture is used in the vineyard with the aim of rendering a true portrayal of the estate's magnificent terroirs. Crafted under the guidance of cellar masters Benoit Dufour and Laurent Saget, the product range includes Château de la Mulonnière Savennières "L'Effet Papillon", Château de la Mulonnière "Coteaux du Layon Beaulieu" (375ml), M de Mulonnière Chenin Blanc and M de Mulonnière Rosé d'Anjou, Chenin Blanc, Château de la Mulonnière's emblematic grape variety, fully displays its versatility through wine styles that range from dry to semi-dry and sweet delivering an extensive array of aromatics with great panache.
