The perfect balance between quiet and elegance is at the heart of a house that welcomes VITOLUPO furniture, where the decoration draws on the design of the Twenties owing the distinctive characters and geometric shapes that recall the Déco period. Stylistic allusions together with geometric patterns give the space a formal coherence: volumes are marked by the rhythm of the woodworks, by an unexpected geometric play of marbles, all embellished by the glow of brass details.

The palette is exclusively noir, suddenly interrupted by ivory tones and golden flashes. Black is the colour of elegance, power and luxury. Black is the sum of all colours, the densest, the deepest. Black contrasts with the sharpness of white marbles while the rigor of geometries is balanced by the sparkles of golden brass and the sinuous shapes of furniture and chairs. The reference to the Déco style proposed by VITOLUPO to complete the living space is also perceptible through the graphics of the tapestries and wallpapers. The decor of the fabrics covering the precious Il Lauro screen is reflected in the detail of the cushions characterized by Oriental prints in voluptuous shades of black, gold and silver.

La Palma sideboard looks like an antique and precious chest that keeps and protects a rare treasure. The repetition of the two-toned line of the inlay work create optical effects that match the rhomboid shapes of the handles. The latter, treated as jewels, have inlaid semi-precious stone details such as Tiger's Eye. The interiors of the cabinets are enhanced not only by the inlay motif of the doors, but also, and especially, by the use of Zebrawood for shelves and drawers. The brass and the Calacatta or Nero Marquina marbles of the top surface complete the value of the furnishing and confer majesty on it.

The particular tripod design of L’Oleandro chair in ostrich leather, strongly characterizes it. The line of the padded, wrap-around back continues, forming the two front legs, while the back leg resumes the shape of a stiletto of a high fashion accessory. The brass stem of the rear leg, includes a leather or fabric detail that further exalts its lightness and the distinctive “Y” shape.

The sculptural harmony of Il Gelso round table in Calacatta or Nero Marquina marbles, clearly shows the excellent craftsmanship of stone materials, glass framing and brass details. The base, made up of three curved stone spirals, lends such a lightness and dynamism to the structure that seems to challenge the laws of gravity. The marble setting for the crystal tabletop exalts the contrasts between full/void, lightness/ heaviness, and endows the piece with a natural equilibrium. Notwithstanding its significant presence, this table allows the furniture and objects to interact harmoniously, since its helical shape involves the entire furnished space.

Materials
Tiger's eye is a quartz crystal with splendid golden yellow bands that cross it creating golden shades generating magnificent golden-yellow luminous effects. The reflections of waving light are due to the presence of parallel fibers that give the stone a particular glinting effect. Since ancient times this stone is considered a powerful amulet against demons and spells.
