This original design is a tribute to the Kurumaken or « wheel Shuriken. The Shuriken is a japanese concealed weapon known as throwing star or ninja stars. The Shuriken were used as supplementary weapons to the sword in a samurai’s arsenal.

Unlike popular belief, at the beginning shuriken were not supposed to be killing weapons, but they were used as a nuisance or a distraction.
Targets were primarily the more exposed parts of the body: the eyes, face, hands, or feet. Some were coated with poison!!!

Shuriken are simple weapons, but their historical value has increased.
