H. Moser & Cie. unveils a creation born from the meeting of Earth and cosmos. The Streamliner Perpetual Moon Concept Meteorite is much more than a watch: it is a shard of captured meteorite, a moon seized mid-flight, a fragment of the infinite come to rest on the wrist. Between the celestial void and the density of matter, it forms a secret bridge, a piece of sky transformed into watchmaking poetry.
The Gibeon meteorite travelled through space for millions of years before crashing in Namibia. Now, it has been transformed into a dial, cut with extreme precision and worked to achieve its ideal shape. A specific treatment then reveals the Widmanstätten pattern – natural geometric structures formed by iron-nickel alloys and impossible to reproduce artificially. An authentic message from the cosmos, this crystalline language gives each dial a unique identity, which the dial maker further enhances with a golden tone, before applying Moser's signature fumé effect, creating unique depth and light effects on each piece.
H. Moser & Cie. has already introduced a perpetual moon phase, powered by a hand-wound movement. With the Streamliner Perpetual Moon Concept Meteorite, the manufacture has taken a new step forward by offering this complication in an automatic version for the first time. It retains the intrinsic qualities of the complication – extreme precision, simple setting – elevating them even further.
The perpetual moon phase is phenomenally accurate: a drift of one day only after 1027 years. The HMC 270 automatic manufacture calibre delivers a power reserve of at least 3 days, while a discreet push-button on the case flank allows the moon phases to be finely adjusted in an elegant and poetic motion.
With its 40 mm steel cushion case and integrated bracelet, the Streamliner Perpetual Moon Concept Meteorite remains true to its DNA: organic curves, alternating polished and satin-finished surfaces, a seamless sense of fluidity. The golden meteorite dial harmonizes with the 5N red gold hands and moon, creating a warm palette that plays against the cool tones of the steel case, while the Globolight® inserts illuminate the piece with a subtle glow.
At H. Moser & Cie., minimalism is defined not by absence, but by intensity. The Streamliner Perpetual Moon Concept Meteorite is a resolutely understated ode to the moon: a bare dial without logo or indices, yet expressing the essentials. A watchmaker's poem pared down to its most beautiful line.
The Streamliner Perpetual Moon Concept Meteorite stays true to the Moser tradition: a unique take on Haute Horlogerie, designed for connoisseurs.
