Coordinating a nice look for the beach may be a bit hard sometimes but, you don’t need to throw your personal style out of the window during a beach vacation! There are so many options, especially if you try thinking out of the box. However, you don’t need to strain yourself since we’re here to help you stay in style and classy while unwinding next to the palm trees.

1.  Beautiful swimwear is a must

If you’re spending your days on the beach the first thing you need to invest in is a good swimwear. Nowadays, there are so many good options and styles so it should be relatively easy to try them on and get some that make you feel most comfortable. Sustainable swimwear is also all the rage this season and we hope that this trend will last. This kind of swimwear is made out of eco-friendly materials and has a lesser impact on your carbon footprint. Caring about our planet is what will make you the classiest woman on the beach.

2.  Invest in beach wear staples

A good thing to have in mind when shopping for classy beach appropriate attire is to look at them as basics which you’ll further accessorize (more on that later). Most of the time you will take off whatever you have on and only hang out in your bikini or one piece, but if you want to have some cocktails or dinner later you can put it on again and be ready to go. So items which you can easily slip out of  should be at the top of your shopping list. Because of this, long flowy dresses are always on our radar during the beach seasons. Sarongs can also be stylish and classy. You can also get some nice shorts and pair them with your bikini top. When you get a couple of items you adore it’s easy to have fun and mix and match them with your bikinis.

3.  Accessorizing adds polish to your look

Now that you’ve armed yourself with a nice bikini and flowy basics it’s time to have some fun. Wearing accessories to the beach will provide your outfit with an extra flare you crave for. Big sunglasses, wide brimmed hats and jewelry can make your beach look pop. When it comes to sunglasses, you can experiment with colours and shapes that will complement your overall look. Gold jewelry is a must for the beach since golden sheer looks best on a tanned body. However, don’t go overboard with the jewelry. Dainty pieces are more adequate for the beachy look, save the big flashy pieces for other occasions.

4.  Choosing the right shoes and a bag

If you want to be more elegant with your beach ready look, then forget about your flip flops. Nice sandals or slides are sure to add some more glamour to your outfit. As Carry Bradshaw taught us - extravagant shoes are the most important part of the outfit, so choose wisely. You also need to keep in mind that you’ll need a proper bag for your beach adventures where you can fit all of your essentials. Fashion bloggers have brought straw woven bags back to the limelight this season, so you may want to get one for yourself!

5.  Don’t overdo it

The key to having a successful beachy look is to look both casual and elegant at the same time, but the worst fashion offence you can do on the beach is to look “overdone”. Don’t forget that you want to look effortless and glam makeup can destroy that illusion. Keep makeup to the minimum and don’t go all out on your hairstyle - a messy bun is perfect for the occasion. Finally, don’t worry too much about the specifics of the look, just enjoy yourself with your loved ones.
