Sunreef Yachts unveiled its new “NEXT Generation” design for the first time during a media event at the Palm Beach International Boat Show 2025 just few days ago. The Sunreef 80 NEXT leads this design shift, combining modern looks with smart solutions to make sailing more comfortable and enjoyable. Other sailing models will soon follow with similar improvements.
Sunreef 80NEXT has a redesigned aft cockpit, featuring foldout platforms that, when used with the hydraulic aft platform, create a 13.4-meter private beach. This feature expands the yacht’s outdoor space, providing great ocean views and more room to relax. The larger cockpit includes two extra lounge chairs, a garage for a jet ski and water toys, and direct access to the galley, making it easier to serve guests while keeping their space private.
The Ocean Lounge has also been updated with a redesigned dayhead, extra storage, a modern bar module, and a lounging zone with large sun pads that have a movable backrest, turning them into a sofa. Other details include lift-up chaise lounges, top-access shoe storage, and a more open aft section.
The bow area now gives owners a choice between reshaped trampolines for a traditional sailing feel or large sun pads for extra comfort. This allows for a front terrace that fits different styles and preferences.
The flybridge is one of the yacht’s key features, offering four layout choices. Owners can choose between a dining table for eight with an L-shaped sofa and gym, a bar area, a jacuzzi with a sun pad, or freestanding sun pads. Each option designed for outdoor comfort and enjoyment.
Inside, the redesigned saloon layout offers more customization options. Cut-outs on the hull’s sides let in natural light, improving the connection between the interior and the sea. The navigation station has been repositioned to the port side to make better use of space and improve functionality.
The yacht’s bulkheads have been adjusted to expand the hulls, allowing for more spacious guest cabins and a master suite with a freestanding tub in its bathroom. These changes create a more comfortable and relaxing onboard experience.
Sunreef Yachts remains committed to sustainability by offering eco-friendly materials in the yacht’s design, proving that luxury and environmental responsibility can go hand in hand.
The crew quarters have also been improved. By shifting the bulkhead aft thanks to a new design, the fore peaks now provide more room for a spacious double crew cabin with twin beds, giving crew members more comfort on board.
Looking ahead, the Sunreef sail models are set to receive a fresh new look, incorporating these forward-thinking design innovations. More details will be revealed soon, promising an exciting future for Sunreef’s NEXT Generation of sailing catamarans.
