Terminal Getaway Spa, the award-winning airport spa today announced the addition of six new locations within two of the country's top airports, Seattle-Tacoma and Tampa International. Scheduled to open by mid-2017, the new locations join the brand's five already existing spas in Chicago, Charlotte and Orlando.
Founded in 2006, Terminal Getaway Spa is the premier airport relaxation station revolutionizing airport spas and improving the travel experience by offering private treatment rooms, on-trend services, mainstay hospitality and extensively trained licensed technicians. The authentic spa-like atmosphere transforms guests from the hustle and bustle of the airport to a serene setting with the use of subdued colors and relaxation-inducing lighting.
"Travelers are drawn to our locations because we really do transport them into a five-star spa experience," said Marko Iglendza, CEO and Founder of Terminal Getaway Spa. "I'm thrilled to bring our concept into two phenomenal cities and offer more travelers an opportunity to take advantage of our services, before or after a flight."
The addition of four Terminal Getaway Spa locations into airsides A, C, E & F at Tampa International is part of the airports nearly $1 billion facility expansion where approximately 65 new concessions are being added to increase dining and shopping opportunities for travelers.
Planned for Terminals A and C, two new Terminal Getaway Spa locations are part of a $550 million airport renovation and expansion underway at Seattle-Tacoma which has been the fastest growing airport in the country the past two years.
"Our goal is to continue to expand nationally," said Iglendza. "We're aiming to fill a void in the marketplace as domestic travel rises and airports look to improve their guest experience."
