Baglietto, the renowned shipyard celebrating its 170th anniversary, unveiled two new yacht lines during a press conference in Milan: the FAST50 and the XO. The FAST50, designed by Francesco Paszkowski, stands out as the flagship of Baglietto's fast, innovative, and hi-tech yachts—featuring a top speed of 30 knots and drawing inspiration from the shipyard's historical productions. On the other hand, the XO line marks Baglietto's entry into the long-range ocean-crossing vessel segment, with the X50 being the inaugural model.

"These new lines - comments Baglietto's CEO Diego Michele Deprati - are the highest expression of Baglietto's core mission: innovating while also preserving tradition. Both projects are extremely innovative and set up Baglietto for even more success. Indeed, each and every one of our products - continues Deprati - looks ahead at the future, often anticipating it, without ever losing sight of its DNA".

BAGLIETTO XO

Real journeys are the ones made by sea, on vessels, not by train. The horizon should be empty and separate the sky from the water. All around, only nothingness, weighed down by immensity. Only then is it a journey. (Erri De Luca)

The XO line, characterized by its innovative design, offers an extraordinary  panoramic observation point above the wheelhouse, providing a unique and immersive experience during long-range cruises. The concept takes inspiration from the iconic ETR 300 'Settebello' train, with the pilot bridge on the upper deck and an exclusive area above it for guests. The hull is designed for transoceanic crossings, featuring sturdy and sharp bows for enhanced maneuverability in extreme weather conditions. The aft area includes a multipurpose space with a gym and storage, reflecting Baglietto's focus on environmental protection using eco-friendly materials and solar panels.

FAST50

"Speed is the form of ecstasy the technical revolution has bestowed on man" (Milan Kundera) As for the FAST50, it epitomizes speed and technical ecstasy, featuring a light alloy fast displacement model with a maximum speed of 30 knots. Drawing inspiration from Baglietto's historical productions, the FAST50 retains the family feeling while incorporating elements from the brand's new direction. The design includes a transformer in place of the traditional passerelle, seamless transitions between interiors and exteriors, and references to the automotive world. The yacht offers three full decks, a 'wide body' concept in the master cabin, generous outdoor areas, and a float-in garage for a tender up to 7 meters long. The first unit is scheduled for delivery in 2026.
