The Streamliner Tourbillion Pierre Gasly: The Epitome Of Elegance

There are some collaborations that seem like marketing gimmicks. And then there are those that arise from an encounter, a dialogue, a subtle alignment between two worlds. The watch created by H. Moser & Cie. and Pierre Gasly belongs to the latter category. But there’s no boasting here...Just a man, an acknowledgement. It is to this man that H. Moser & Cie. has chosen to pay tribute, to his attention to detail and his eye for the essentials, by bringing to life the Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly model, available in two versions. This watch, which bears his name, reflects his tastes, his touch and his spirit.

The meeting between Pierre Gasly and H. Moser & Cie. resulted in a watch that reflects his image – almost an extension of his personality – crafted down to the last millimetre by Pierre himself, in close collaboration with the watchmakers at the manufacture. And he didn’t merely lend his name to this timepiece: He conceived the object, chose the textures, insisted on the tourbillon. “I have always been fascinated by this mechanism. There’s something almost hypnotic about its constant balletic motion. Its precision and technical excellence also draw parallels with the world of F1”, he explains. Pierre was involved at every stage of the creation of the Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly, from the choice of movement to the colour of the dial. Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie., enthuses: “From the moment we first met, Pierre had a very clear idea of what he wanted. We offered him dozens of alternatives to challenge him, to push him off the beaten track. But each time, true to his instincts, he returned to this piece. His own, as we now present it”.

He wanted the dial to reflect his image. Profound, subtle, slightly mysterious. He named it himself: Chocolate fumé. An intense shade of rich, nuanced brown that evokes both restrained power and attention to detail, as well as the understated refinement that one senses in him, behind his sunglasses and his racing overalls. This brown fumé, typical of Moser’s treatments, features the brand’s logo in transparent lacquer, providing a unique, almost indulgent canvas for expression. It deliberately contrasts with the sleek architecture of the Streamliner case in 5N red gold. This tension between chromatic roundness and sporty lines creates a unique balance – very like the poise that Pierre himself cultivates: the driver’s precision, combined with a warm presence.

At the heart of the watch, a one-minute flying tourbillon sets the tempo. Positioned at six o’clock, it offers an almost meditative spectacle. A marvel of ingenuity, the automatic HMC 805 calibre that powers this piece is equipped with a double hairspring designed and produced in-house by H. Moser & Cie.’s sister company Precision Engineering AG. This pair of matching hairsprings compensates for the shifts in the centre of gravity that each spring undergoes as it expands, ensuring greater precision and isochronism in a perpetual quest for perfection.

Two variants have been designed for this exceptional model, the result of a particularly successful collaboration. The first, produced in a limited edition of one hundred, comes with a chocolate-coloured rubber strap that emphasises the piece’s sport-chic character. The second, much more exclusive version, is limited to only ten pieces. Ten, like Pierre’s racing number – to which he is very attached. To pay tribute to him, a red ruby has been discreetly set at ten o’clock. A symbolic touch, an intimate, almost secret nod that only the most attentive will notice. This precious version is fitted with an integrated 5N red gold bracelet, which naturally extends the case along a continuous, fluid, almost organic line.

H. Moser & Cie. launches the Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly on October 1st, 2025, on the occasion of the Singapore Grand Prix. An almost cinematic choice of location: at night, the spotlights, the humid, electric atmosphere, the sound of engines echoing off the buildings. And on Pierre’s wrist, this watch. Precise, personal, uncompromising. Just like him.

H. Moser & Cie.’s own and unique take on Haute Horlogerie.
