There is only one possible word to describe Cannes, France: “glamorous”. The sparkling Mediterranean Sea, haute boutiques and opulent hotels are only some of the reasons why this city on the Côte d’Azur is considered to be a playground for the rich and famous.
In May 2014 the chaos descended on the city as Arnold Schwarzenegger along with the cast of The Expendables 3 swept through the main streets in tanks to promote the film. Arnie chose, for that Cannes Film Festival, to sport on his wrist a U-1942 model by U-BOAT.
The occasion gave to Italo Fontana, Creator of U-BOAT, the idea to open a new branded boutique in the jewel in Cannes’ shopping crown, the parallel street to the Croisette. Rue d’Antibes, stands out because of its urban elegance accentuated by recent renovations and offers a myriad of beautiful shops.
The U-BOAT Boutique, just opened at house number 56, follows the recent opening in Seoul, Korea and goes before the forthcoming openings of Rome, in via del Babuino and Venice, in San Marco Square.
