Walker Zanger—the world’s most comprehensive stone and tile company—will attend the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) from May 14-17 in booth #1466. The company will showcase its newest tile offerings for luxury design, debuting the new Stardust collection—a mosaic tile waterjet-cut from lava stone and glazed to create a textured, hand-crafted look with sleek, modern patterns.
“There is a trend toward using more tactile tile in designs, and the textured, hand-crafted look of Stardust offers sleek, modern patterns that create a unique visual language for designers to use in their projects,” said Walker Zanger Vice President of Design and Marketing Jared Becker.
The Stardust collection draws inspiration from mid-century textiles and interiors, as well as the textural surface of the moon. The color palette of whites and silvers are reminiscent of metallic wallpaper and mirrored surfaces in order to evoke a ‘70s glam influence. With names such as “Eclipse” and “Cosmos,” many of its pattern and color names are pulled from celestial themes.
Other notable new tile collections on display at the show include:
--Kaza: Striking an impeccable balance of artistry and technology, the Kaza collection incorporates tactile 3-D elements for bold accent walls, with a sensitive balance of style and innovation for the modern home.
--Studio Moderne: Century Suite: Inspired by 1970s glamour, Art Deco and Neo-Egyptian architecture, Studio Moderne: Century Suite was created in collaboration with interior designer Michael Berman. It features contemporary and textural designs that allow designers to be creative with a variety of applications.
