Award-winning, Los Angeles-based Architecture Firm, Newman Garrison + Partners' latest project is a 245-unit mixed-use development within the Warner Center - a project designed to be a modern-luxe haven, attracting young professionals and millennials.
The Q East is located at 6200 Variel and Erwin Street as part of the master planned community, the Warner Center in Woodland Hills, and will break ground Winter 2017. The inspiration behind the development was to fulfill the vibrant spirit of the Warner Center Specific Plan in which residents can enjoy high-living amenities that include full service concierge, valet parking, resort-style pools, a 5th floor roof deck and outdoor movie theater to accommodate outdoor events. The project boasts over 40,000 sq.ft. of commercial/restaurant space.
"We want to give the residents of the Q more than they can expect. The Q will be the West Valley's most sought after luxury lifestyle," said owner of the project and CEO of California Home Builders, Shawn Evenhaim.
The 7-story project makes a modern statement with its striking exterior corner facade - creating a stunning architectural feature to enhance the outdoor experience. In addition, an 8,800 sf. outdoor public plaza anchors the corner, connecting the restaurant/office users to promote a sense of community. This is just one of the many elements of the project created to attract a younger generation in a highly competitive market. Health and wellness serve as a theme throughout the development - constructing a 7,500/ft full service fitness center with yoga studio featuring state-of-the-art equipment, gourmet teaching kitchen, 2 large outdoor courtyards with resort style pool and amenities. A raised 2-story restaurant with rooftop viewing terrace bar/lounge and dining area overlooks the plaza below.
The project will add to the already booming Warner Center Specific Plan which will also include The Q West (slated to open in 2019), another groundbreaking project between Newman Garrison + Partners and California Home Builders. The Q West combines luxury apartments, restaurants and workspace as part of a modern mixed-use development in a prime location adjacent to the Westfield's Topanga at the Village Shopping Center, featuring premier dining, athletic clubs, and luxury retail.
