Westfield Garden State Plaza, the premier shopping center in the Metro New York/New Jersey area and one of the top performing malls in the country, will add global luxury brands Burberry, Ferragamo, Hugo Boss, Longchamp and Versace, joining the existing deluxe offerings at the center. The new shops will be located adjacent to Neiman Marcus, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Co., and all are scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2015, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
In addition to luxury retailers, the center will also welcome Michael Kors Men, a flagship Michael Kors, a new-to-market Timberland concept and The North Face. To further compliment the fashion array, Westfield Garden State Plaza will also debut several restaurants including newly opened Yo! Sushi, a Japanese inspired brand from the UK. The retailers will open beginning in May through September of this year.
The arrival of these premier brands at Westfield Garden State Plaza compliments the newly featured Fashion District, unveiled inMarch 2014 with over 20 top-line brands and a new state-of-the-art parking facility featuring Park Assist technology, and a host of elevated services and amenities including a new guest services desk, fashionable lounge seating, flat screen TV's, complimentary Wi-Fi and modernized restrooms. New services include coat check, a language line which interprets over 20 languages, and Answers on the Spot - a mobile concierge that can be accessed from anywhere in the mall.
"Bergen County shoppers crave the latest in fashion trends and styles," said Bryan Gaus, Senior General Manager for Westfield. "Bringing the most covetable brands to the center provides our customers with an exciting shopping excursion where they can discover the latest and greatest in fashion trends as well as dine and entertain with luxury amenities and style."
The retailer expansion appeals to the demand for fresh fashion in the North Jersey market while enhancing the current retail mix. Westfield Garden State Plaza, known for delivering the best retail brands in every category and new concepts to market, welcomed over 40 new retailers in the past year including Tory Burch, PIRCH, Vince Camuto, Maje, Sandro, Microsoft and Max Brenner Chocolate Cafe.
