$300,000 6.26-carat Diamond Ring Tops Heritage Fine Jewelry Auction

Heritage Auctions’ inaugural Summer Fine Jewelry Auction realized almost $3 million in sales as 992 lots sold for $2,877,873, with spirited bidding for spectacular diamond rings and earrings leading the way. A breathtaking, pear-shaped, Diamond, Platinum Ring took top lot honors at $300,000, as the 6.26-carat stunner, set in platinum, closed out the first session with unmatched elegance.

Two other gorgeous diamond pieces rounded out the top three as an amazing radiant-cut Diamond, Platinum Ring realized $93,750 and an eye-catching pair of Diamond, White Gold Earrings sold for $50,000.

A classic 20-station Alhambra Turquoise, Gold Necklace by Van Cleef & Arpels sold for $40,000.  An elegant European-cut 6.40 carat Diamond, Platinum, White Gold Ring also realized $40,000.

A beautiful Archaeological Revival Glass, Gold Necklace, circa 1880 composed of 18k gold grapevines and leaves sold for $37,500. A stunning Diamond, White Gold Necklace also realized $37,500 while a classic Cartier Art Deco Natural Pearl, Cultured Pearl, Diamond, Platinum Necklace impressed with a final sale price of $35,000.
