When the world opens back up again, New Zealand is high on many lists. A beautiful country with a few seriously stunning views, many and more people are beginning to see the beauty that is New Zealand. From the home to the Shire to the black sands of beaches, there is more to New Zealand than first meets the eye. If you plan a trip, there are a few things to consider before packing your bags.

Hire A Camper Van

New Zealand is not particularly a large country, and while there are many windy roads and mountains to navigate, it is fairly easy to move around. Because it is not too large, you can easily visit a few different towns to get a better feel of the land. If you have the time and enjoy camping, consider hiring a camper van to cruise your way around the country. There are many places that will hire out camper vans, and you can cook and sleep in them. Because there is so much the country has to offer, it is a good way to see many different places.

Make Pit Stops for Craft Beer

Road trips can make anyone thirsty, and nothing is more thirst-quenching than an ice-cold beer. Over the last few years, the craft beer scene in New Zealand has exploded, and there are many breweries opening up, serving delicious beers, ranging from crisp lagers to roasted porters. Some breweries may even offer tours of the process, where you can see just how beer is made. Don’t forget to grab a few to-go, so you can really enjoy them in the evening after a long day on the road.

Check Out the Underwater Galaxy

While it isn’t really a galaxy, appearances can be deceiving. There are caves in New Zealand with glow-worms that attach themselves to the caves. You can take a boat trip through to these areas and simply lay back. In the pitch-black of these caves, these little glow worms really do look like the stars in the night sky.

New Zealand is an amazing country with so much to offer. It has the perfect blend of scenery—there are winding mountains, many camping options, beautiful coastlines, and hip nightlife in the larger cities. There are quaint towns and lakes, and even a week in New Zealand will leave any traveller wanting more.
