All-Adult Beyond Resort Khaolak Named As Top Private Luxury Resort

Beyond Resort Khaolak, the adults-only all-villa resort owned and operated by Kata Group has been named as Private Luxury Resort of the Year – Phang Nga – Thailand in the Luxury Travel Guide Awards for 2017. 

UK-based Luxury Travel Guide presents the awards on a worldwide basis to hotels and resorts, together with airlines and tour operators, which are considered by the publication’s own experts to be at the pinnacle of excellence. 

Beyond Resort Khaolak, located directly on the white sands of Pakweep Beach in Khaolak, accepts no guests under the age of 18 years and is consequently regarded as a private retreat for honeymooners and couples who prefer a romantic secluded holiday. 

With its beachfront setting the resort is also an inspired venue for wedding ceremonies and receptions, and Thai and Western wedding packages are available. 

The resort has won a number of other awards, including most recently the Most Romantic Resort in Asia and Australasia at the 2016 Luxury Travel Awards, and the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence 2016. 

In 2015, the resort was awarded the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Award in the category of Romance, an honour awarded to less than one percent of global hotels and resorts rated on the TripAdvisor site. In the same year, the resort also received official 5-star certification from the UK.
