Elite Beachfront Pool Villa Collection At Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa

Leading hotel management company Compass Hospitality is poised to unveil its luxury brand with the opening of Ananda Hua Hin Resort & Spa on April 1 this year, featuring a collection of elite private beachfront pool villas expected to set a new high watermark for privacy and exclusivity in the royal destination. 

The new high-end brand by Compass Hospitality adds to its existing of three brands – Compass, Citrus, Citin - and marks its 42nd managed property across its operating markets in Thailand, Malaysia and the UK. 

“We are very proud to enter the luxury segment in Thailand and we firmly believe Ananda will set new standards in high-end hospitality in every destination we operate,” said Compass Hospitality Executive Vice President Operations, Jonathan Lim. “The brand is informal but sophisticated, ensuring we are not trapped by unwieldy brand rules and regulations so we can focus on providing an exceptional and personalised guest experience.” 

The eagerly awaited new property, led by veteran hotelier Nigel Tovey, will feature the Ananda Pool Villa Collection, a cluster of luxurious private accommodation options with creative indoor and outdoor spaces ranging from 188 square metres (sqm) to 268 sqm in size. Decorated in light, soft tones, the villas open onto lush gardens, private pools and each one comes with its own private entrance. 

A strong sense of individualism pervades the star-quality villa collection with unique experiences delivered via Ananda’s “Check-in, Bliss-out” concierge, offering everything from impressionist watercolour painting classes to a videography programme, private beauty menu and a selection of elegant classic cars to choose from to traverse the nearby hills, travel to the golf course or visit local vineyards. 

Located on a long sandy shoreline about 15 minutes outside Hua Hin town, Ananda Hua Hin sits on a gracious 30-rai site extending from Petkasem Road to the beach itself. The resort is just eight minutes from Hua Hin Airport, allowing for swift and easy access by private plane, or guests can also choose to arrive in style aboard a private E&O train carriage, exclusively arranged via the Ananda concierge. 

“Ananda Hua Hin is a property of its time, and perfectly fitting with this fast evolving destination as we look to redefine an area that was actually one of the first spots well-to-do families came to 30 years ago,” said Ananda Hua Hin general manager Mr. Tovey. “It is the most beautiful, natural and peaceful part of the coast and therefore the ideal location for us to offer a whole new level of hospitality to our guests.” 

The entirety of Ananda Hua Hin encompasses 196 rooms, cleverly divided into three distinct areas. The 23 pool villas are closest to the beach and there’s a dedicated family area featuring an expansive pool and the Submarine Kids Club. Housed in the grounds will also be Hua Hin’s largest ballroom, with 900 sqm of flexible function space, including a range of customisable floor plans, state-of-the-art audio-visual and inspired menus catering to domestic and regional corporate events and weddings. 

Above the ballroom is Blue Biscuit, a contemporary-styled club-come-restaurant that will host live blues and jazz performances by Thailand’s up and coming talents and visiting international artists. The interior features a bar at the back with bare red brick walls, lounge leather seating, and an outdoor area with views of the ocean. 

Four food and beverage outlets are peppered throughout the resort. The signature Italian restaurant Brezza (meaning “breeze” in Italian) serves fresh seafood brought directly to the resort by local fishermen each day, with a Mediterranean small plate menu to be enjoyed with the restaurant’s wine list, featuring acclaimed locally-produced Monsoon Valley White Shiraz from Hua Hin Hills vineyard. 

For guests seeking blissful relaxation and wellness therapies, the sophisticated Ananda Spa facility at the resort provides them with the option to leave in better shape than when they arrived with a choice of beneficial treatments administered by expert therapists using a range of health-giving natural products.
