The Prodrive Racing Simulator – the world’s most beautiful racing simulator – will make its debut at the Royal Automobile Club in Pall Mall, London, this week, where journalists will be able to arrange to try the striking machine for themselves.
Created as a sculptural statement piece as much as a state-of-the-art simulator experience, the Prodrive Racing Simulator was designed and engineered in conjunction with CALLUM, headed by renowned automotive designer Ian Callum.
The carbon monocoque structure houses the driver’s seat, screen, steering wheel and pedal box beneath a sweeping canopy made from 16 layers of birch encased in an elegant, gloss-black finish. A purpose-built NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™-powered system ensures smooth graphics are consistently rendered across the 49-inch curved high refresh rate display, while the Precision SIM LM Pro steering wheel with Simucube 2 Pro motor and mechanical pedal box ensure a realistic driving experience.
Journalists wishing to test their mettle in the world’s most beautiful racing simulator between now and Friday can arrange a time to attend as a guest. The usual Pall Mall dress code will apply.
The Prodrive Racing Simulator will also be on display during Salon Privé at Blenheim Palace from 31st August to 4th September, followed by Sleeping With Art at Hedsor House on 25-26th October.
