Gilmore Car Museum and Chrysler Brand Partner to Celebrate Chrysler’s 100th Anniversary

The Gilmore Car Museum and Chrysler brand are teaming up to honor Chrysler’s Century of Innovation and iconic designs. From July 30 to August 2, the museum campus in Hickory Corners, Michigan, will be transformed into a living timeline of Chrysler history, packed with historic vehicles, exclusive exhibits, vintage vehicle rides and nostalgic fun for the whole family.

As part of Chrysler’s Century of Innovation festivities, the weeklong event offers fans and families the chance to see and to experience a legacy that shaped the automotive industry.

Highlights of the celebration include:

July 30

  • Wednesday Night Cruise-In and Chrysler Kickoff Party: Start your engines with a special edition of the famous Cruise-In. Chrysler brings in ultra-rare, jaw-dropping classics from across the decades

July 31 - August 1, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

  • Vintage Rides, Chrysler Through the Years: Step back in time and into the passenger seat. Visitors can ride in legendary classics, like the 1932 De Soto, 1938 Chrysler Royal and the wood-paneled wonder, the 1981 Chrysler LeBaron Town & Country. It’s the ultimate time-travel experience on wheels

August 2

  • Reb Barns Spectacular – Chrysler Spotlight: Chrysler takes center stage at the museum’s biggest car show of the year with an unmatched display of automotive greatness, including the ultra-rare 1963 Chrysler Turbine Car — one of only nine known to exist. Also features:
    • 1924 Chrysler Six (the one that started it all)
    • 1934 Chrysler Airflow
    • 1948 Chrysler Town & Country
    • 1955 Chrysler 300

“This isn’t just a car show — it’s a full-throttle tribute to 100 years of Chrysler’s legacy,” said Nick LaCasse, executive director of the Gilmore Car Museum. “From the early engineering breakthroughs to futuristic concepts like the Turbine Car, this event captures the spirit of innovation that defines Chrysler.”

The Gilmore Car Museum is North America’s largest auto museum, located on a 90-acre historic campus in southwest Michigan. With more than 400 vehicles on display and a packed calendar of events, it’s where history drives.

Chrysler marks its 100th anniversary in 2025, honoring Walter P. Chrysler's legacy of innovation, engineering excellence and beautiful, affordable designs. As the brand celebrates this milestone, the future looks bright with exciting new releases: a refreshed Chrysler Pacifica in 2026, a new crossover soon after and a third product inspired by the Halcyon concept.

The Chrysler Pacifica, the most awarded minivan ever, continues to lead the segment it created more than 40 years ago. The Pacifica Plug-in Hybrid, the first electrified minivan in its class, achieves 82 MPGe, with an all-electric range of 32 miles and a total range of 520 miles. With class-leading safety features and available all-wheel drive, Pacifica is designed for modern families. Chrysler will also celebrate the 20th anniversary of its exclusive Stow ‘n Go seating and storage system in 2025, as well as the return of the budget-friendly Chrysler Voyager to the lineup.
