Shah grew up in Kenya, and has been on safaris his entire life. He inherited a deep love for the bush as he grew older, which resulted into a lifelong passion for photography, conservation and the safari industry. His first conservation project was at the age of 20, when Shah organized a group of friends to cycle 500 miles across Kenya to raise money for a rhino sanctuary.

 

“Conservation has always been close to our hearts,” states Shah about this passion for giving back to the local communities. “We are active supporters of conservation and community initiatives through our partnerships with relevant charities or NGOs in our destinations.”

 

Supporting the Uganda Conservation Foundation (they run valuable conservation projects in and around Uganda’s national parks), and the Rwanda-based nonprofit, Gorilla Doctors (who provide vital medical care and monitoring of gorillas across Rwanda, Uganda and DRC), Shah’s passion continues to help underprivileged communities throughout Africa.
