Latour Launches "Weekend In Havana" Getaways

With President Obama's recent announcement that the United States and Cuba are upgrading to full diplomatic relations, Latour is continuing to expand its offers with a new 4-night "Weekend in Havana" getaway. Weekend departures begin on November 20, 2015 and run into 2016.

Latour's new "Weekend in Havana" getaways recall the days decades ago when "a weekend in Havana" was a reality for thousands of Americans. A 1941 blockbuster movie even celebrated the possibility. The tours include a stay at Havana's luxury Melia Cohiba Hotel and include visits to Old and modern Havana, Ernest Hemingway's home, a local rum museum and a cigar factory.

Throughout the remainder of 2015 and into 2016, Latour, a member of the IsramWorld Portfolio of Brands, is offering a variety of licensed people-to-people tour programs to Cuba. Over the next few weeks, Latour will announce additional Cuba programs.

 The "Weekend in Havana" package is priced at $2,999 per person, based on double occupancy, and includes:

    • Sheraton Miami - 1 night
    • Melia Cohiba - 3 nights
  • Roundtrip airfare from Miami to Havana
