Excitement is building for the 2023 edition of the famous Salon Privé Concours presented by Aviva at Blenheim Palace on 30-31 August – and the organisers are delighted to announce a new two-day format for this glorious automotive lifestyle end-of-season spectacular that celebrates the world’s finest concours classics.

The Salon Privé event itself remains a four-day extravaganza, from 30 August-2 September, celebrating all things classic and modern in the most luxurious of surroundings. However, the Salon Privé Concours will now shorten from three days to two, on 30-31 August. The tradition and exuberance of Boodles’ Ladies Day will then continue on the third day, followed by the finale public day motoring extravaganza on Super Saturday.

“With the UK automotive events calendar seemingly at bursting point, organisers have an obligation to work together for the good of the car community,” explained Salon Privé Chairman Andrew Bagley. Embodying this commitment is Salon Prive’s major sponsor, Aviva, who have graciously given the green light to pave the way for collectors and enthusiasts to attend more events over the period.

“At the beginning of the week, guests and collectors can now enjoy the Salon Privé Concours at Blenheim Palace, with Hampton Court Concours of Elegance at the end of the week. Onto the weekend and there’s a hotbed of activity in Oxfordshire for the motoring enthusiast, with Salon Privé’s jaw-dropping public day on the Saturday, followed by a trip to RADwood UK 2023 at Bicester Heritage for an 80s and 90s spectacle on Sunday.”

“It’s then off to the track for the historic race meeting of the season, and a step back in time of course, for the three-day annual pilgrimage that is the Goodwood Revival.”

“Between us all, we have created an automotive fortnight like no other! Is this the UK’s own version of Monterey Car Week?”

The new format for Salon Privé Concours at Blenheim Palace has already been well-received by the concours community, adds Andrew. “The car community is very supportive of the move, and why wouldn’t they be. It also allows foreign owners and enthusiasts, particularly US collectors, to enjoy multiple events in one trip – a win-win for all.”
