On June 8, 1948, the Porsche 356 "No. 1" Roadster received its general operating permit. Since then, Porsche is a synonym for a sporty driving experience and way of thinking: for automotive innovation, design and functionality. The 356 "No. 1" Roadster is a unique model and makes Porsche one of the few automobile manufacturers in the world to have the original first vehicle ever built by the brand in its possession. As part of the celebration of the 70 Years of Porsche Sports Cars, the roadster is touring the world, with two of the seventeen stops in Canada.

Vancouver was the first of the Canadian cities to welcome the 356 "No. 1" Roadster at the Luxury & Supercar Weekend, held at the Vandusen Gardens this past weekend. The car will then head eastbound, making an appearance at the Toronto Harbourfront on September 15-16, 2018.
