Speed Digital to Bring Cloud Technology to 2017 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance

Since the 17th century, people have convened in challenges to show off the finest accomplishments of our collective technology.  Every year the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance attracts both luxury brands and international collectors in what is widely regarded as the most prestigious competition of its kind.

The process of judging the technology of our forefathers with discrimination and expertise will now be assisted with digital technology our ancestors would have been hard-pressed to dream up.

Beginning in 2017, Speed Digital and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance will form a mutual partnership allowing, for the first time in its history, Concours d'Elegance entrants to register their vehicles paperlessly online in a secure cloud-based application.  The format, similar to Speed Digital's Private Collection software, will enable entrants to submit photos and details of each vehicle through a secure portal.  Contestants will also be able to follow-up on their entries from any internet device.

Neil Pitt, President of Speed Digital commented, "This makes a lot of sense.  Much of the information that pertains to these cars, like the images, are in a native digital format already, making this whole process easier for entrants.  The benefits compound after that.  Since everything will be online, event organizers and judges will be able to make notations and communicate online inside the digital file of each respective vehicle rather than having to sort through their inbox."

Speed Digital and Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance are mutually encouraged by an alliance that enhances efficiency and quality.
