Those looking to kick the Sunday blues (or blow off some mid-week steam) can enjoy a taste of the good life at Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain’s jade bar and elements restaurant. The resort’s chill beats and cool drinks are a natural winter antidote – available seven days a week.
Monday through Sunday: The Pour, jade bar’s premium daily happy hour offers the Valley’s best crafted cocktails and savory small plates. (4-6 p.m.). elements’ dining deck is available for guests during breakfast, lunch and dinner and offers prime views Scottsdale’s painterly sunsets over Camelback, Mummy and Four Peaks Mountains.
Wednesday through Saturday: Live jazz, pop and R&B from acts like Angela Ferrari, The Waters and Kyle Phelan is on tap during an extended Weekends at jade winter schedule. (Wednesdays from 6-9 p.m., Thursdays from 7-10 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 7-11 p.m.)
Saturday: Cocktail enthusiasts can learn from true masters of mixology during weekly Mixology 101. The hour-long sessions include how-to instruction, trivia and tips focused on a different spirit each week, with plenty of sampling. (1 p.m.; $30 per person.)
Sunday: End the weekend on a delicious high note with Executive Chef Beau MacMillan’s brunch. Guests can pair seasonal dishes like Old Bay Poached Shrimp, Thai Chicken Salad and Brioche French Toast with 50 percent off any bottle or half bottle of wine from the regular or reserve wine list.
